About

There is a full story about how it all started elsewhere in this blog, but what it has become is a challenge to me to get out of my rut, to start doing more, start living more and to start just plain enjoying life again – in this my 40th year.

How?

By getting out there and doing new things. Anything new. As long as it is new, it counts.

I have had suggestions of what I might like to try. I now have way more than 40 to choose from. And more coming in all the time.

Join in with suggestions, but better than that, join in with trying something new. And let us know what you did and how it felt.

Have fun!

  1. I have nominated you for the Sisterhood Of The World Bloggers Award. The post will be up about 9 or 10 a.m. on Monday. You don’t have to feel obligated, but I hope you’ll pass it on!

I started blogging three months ago at the age of 40, so I will have to keep up with your blog to see what a woman our age can accomplish! It was enough for me to strap the sports bra on and slather sunscreen on today; I hope you can motivate me. 🙂

I love the premise of this!

  5. Think you are tackling your ‘rut’ in the best possible way, head first and with the help of others.

Thanks for following my little blog, much appreciated

Oh dear, should I be worried?!

    • Thank you so much for the offer, extremely kind of you.

I already have a pressure relieving air mattress so an overlay wouldn’t be of any extra benefit. You were not to know that which makes me all the more appreciative.

The world needs more people like you. I’ll need to think of an extra special activity for you now!

We overlapped as I deleted my comment to send it to you. Oh bother, now we have a random hanging answer. Oh well. ::shrug::

I happened to have the manufacturer as one of my clients… 😉 (Fancy a cushion overlay for your wheelchair?!)

And as I said before, regarding the activity, should I be worried?! Actually, I am intrigued. Slightly nervous, and reserving the right to go “Uh? That’d be a NO.” But more trusting you to not stitch me up LOL

      • Have faith. I’m just trying to gauge what you like so it’s something new and something nice!
